CANTON — Chief Wendell Robery reports that the Canton Fire Department extinguished a two-alarm fire on Linden Glen Road on Thursday night.
On Thursday, Feb. 15, at approximately 9:19 p.m., the Canton Fire Department was called to 25 Linden Glen Road for a report of a structure fire.
Companies arrived to find fire showing from a large two-story home that is currently unoccupied.
Companies found fire on the second floor and quickly knocked it down before stopping fire extension on the first and third floors. A second alarm was struck to bring more manpower to the scene.
There were no reported injuries.
Firefighters from the Norwood, Stoughton, Milton, and Sharon Fire Departments provided mutual aid at the scene, as did Foxborough Ambulance. Firefighters from the Randolph, Dedham and Easton Fire Departments covered Canton stations.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Canton Fire Department and the Massachusetts State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit attached to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
